Making Memories through Movement
Proud to have partnered with:
I have been fortunate enough to work with people of varying abilities: visually impaired, DEAF, wheelchair bound, Autistic, Non Neurotypical, hypermobile, and even athletes with limited flexibility. For everyone who has tried to prove to me that they can’t dance, I am proud to say that I have always been able to prove them wrong.
My unique background as a dancer, choreographer, casting director, and producer has allowed me to ask the big questions that other choreographers can’t ask.
Whether working one on one with a client who is preparing for an upcoming audition, or working with a large group preparing for a competition, I make sure that we focus on the dancer’s strengths and vision while still giving audiences something to remember.
Having first attended a dance class at the age of 12, I spent years dancing and exploring different movement styles. In 2015, I founded Choreography by Rae in New York City, while continuing to help schools develop dance programs as part of their student enrichment activities.
My Philosophy:
“Everyone can dance, because dance is simply communication. It is the intersection of movement, music, and emotion.”
– Ms. Rae
