Creative Movement Level 1
That first tutu can make a great photo for your little dancer, but Creative Movement for Kids at Choreography by Rae goes beyond Tendu and Plié. Choreography by Rae aims to nurture the whole dancer by building a solid dance foundation that incorporates multiple styles including Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Latin dance, and Hip Hop. Preschool and Kindergarten dancers have fun building locomotor skills skipping, jumping, and spinning their way through this introductory dance class. Sensory motor skills are expanded as students don’t just learn to follow dance instructions but contribute their own creative ideas to creating dance experiences. Creativity and Imagination are blended with proper dance technique and dance terminology in these weekly classes. This class is a great place to start if you are unsure what style of dance would interest your child.
