Brazilian Portuguese: Language Immersion for Preteens
In this 55 minute class, students are introduced to Portuguese and Brazilian culture. Lead by a native speaker, students will explore Brazilian culture including traditional music, food, and sports. Students will be asked for connections to Brazilian Portuguese and stories from their own lives. Students will sometimes be shown videos regarding the Brazilian Amazon rainforest, soccer, other geographical or cultural topics which they will be able to discuss later.
