Essay Writing 4th & 5th Grade Elementary School (1 of 6)
This class introduces the 5 paragraph essay. Students will learn the core components of writing an essay, and complete two narrative essays Previous experience with essay writing is not required. As writing skills improve students will be invited to exchange papers with their peers and read each other’s work. This class uses breakout rooms. No printouts are required for class work. Some knowledge of grammar is helpful even if the student is unclear about the difference between a noun and a verb.
