Career Day + Field Trip

Summer at home doesn’t have to be boring. In this career day inspired field trip, we’re connecting kids to super cool careers. Unlike a prerecorded field trip, kids can ask questions directly to our guests, then it’s time for some hands on learning.

What equipment do i need?

Classes are taught through Zoom. You do not need to download the Zoom app to attend. You may use a computer, table, laptop, or smartphone.

Please plan on sharing your camera and microphone.

Do I have to pay per child?

Virtual Field Trips are priced per family. You do not need to pay per child.

Do I have to share my camera?

Sharing your camera is necessary most classes.

You do not have to share your camera during reading time or dance jam.

If your child is concerned about other students “seeing” them then let Rae know so arrangements can be. Please understand some younger children find it hard to connect with their peers if they can’t see them.

What if we need to cancel?

If you’re child cannot attend a day of camp, just let us know and we will do our best to move your child to the next available date.

If you are unsure whether your child will be able to complete 4 sessions of camp, please consider purchasing fewer sessions. We are unable to provide refunds.

If you are experiencing a health emergency that prohibits camp attendance, please contact Rae to discuss.

Do You offer Refunds?

We understand that many families are experiencing financial uncertainty. If you would like to discuss a payment plan pleas email us.

We are unable to provide refunds, but will work with you to keep camp accessible to all families who are interested.

What about screen time?

As part of our healthy vision initiative, our camp format is broken up into 55 minutes of screen time, 55 minute minimal screen usage, 55 minutes of screen time. Every camp day offers at least one movement based class which is gamified. Through activities that are gamified and encourage independent choice, students are focusing more on their decision making and less on their screens. This means out of 55 minutes a total of 30-40 minutes be spent focused on the screen.
