Kids Dance Jam (Ages 4-6)
It can be frustrating as a dancer or an athlete not to be able to do things that may seem simple such as touching our toes. If you’re an athlete and your legs sometimes feel like lead or a dancer who can’t do the splits you’re not alone. Your muscles just need a little extra help that they aren’t getting from your regular warm-up routine or a regular Yoga class.
This class combines core strengthening, stretching, foam rolling, and self-myofascial release techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase flexibility. Each class starts with a brief discussion where students can share any trouble spots (sore calves, tight lower back) then we’ll go into our focused warm-up. All exercises can be modified based on students physical ability.
This class drop in class is open to ages 10 and up.

This award-winning studio offers a friendly environment for students of all abilities and all genders.
This class is ideal for:
– Runners, Basketball Players, Soccer Players, and athletes who sprint a lot.
– Dancers who can’t do the splits.
– Students who feel like they struggle to touch their toes.
– Students who feel like they have limited range of motion in their backs or hips.
This class involves physical movement (all abilities are welcome). It is recommended to have water nearby. Students should refrain from eating during class.

Frequently Asked Questions:
My child plays soccer and tennis, but is always sore after a game. Is this a good class?
Yes. This class has run online since 2023. We have had athletes regularly attend two times a week and find improvement in their physical movements, which improves their game overall.
My child can already do the splits and is looking to work on a tilt, is this a good class?
No. This is a group class with sport athletes, dancers, and gymnasts. While modifications are given for sports athletes that differ from movements for dancers, the instructor will not modify instruction to assist your child with working on advanced flexibility skills. If your child is looking to work on square splits, middle splits, oversplits, and pancake splits they will find this class helpful. We will not work on tilt or standing needle.
My kid loves this class. Can we schedule to attend twice a week?
Yes. Once you have registered for class, you will be able to access the subscription page in the student dashboard. From there, you can set up a subscription
We want to sign up, but we aren’t sure if we’ll make it on time. Is this a good fit?
Please provide no less than 24 hours notice to reschedule a class. If your child is ill the day of class, then we provide one courtesy rescheduling opportunity every 90 days. Our small class sizes allow for teacher-student engagement. As class sizes are small, we are unable to offer a refund.
